Picking up on SiH's thoughts on English ads - two more to ad to the pot...
User Posted Link
The ones that absolutely do my head in and make me want to kill babies are:
1. Confused.com - 'real' people in 'real life' situations having a 'real' conversation about a 'real life problem' - yes, car insurance. Obviously...
2. Some w**k mobile ad with free texts or something which follows a 'real' songwriter as 'he arranges a real happening' that becomes a 'real success'..
I f**king hate all this manufactured 'realness': the ad makers know they're not real situations; the actors themselves know they're not real; and we know they're not real - so what's the f**king point? Just f**k off and die all of you...
Blub over...
