like it or not, they are influenced by the managers

fair to say that a pitch deemed playable at 1130 and no worse than use a few weeks ago was worth working on in order to satisfy lambert

and the pitch did improve

at the same time you can't blame the ref for bowing to lambert's pressure in the end
