Blind faith is all very well but it doesn't get you anywhere when the wheels fall off...

Worthington has taken us to the Premiership and a playoff final but has instigated his own downfall with his dealings in the summer.

He's proven in each and every season just how tactically lacking he is but has always been able to fall back on a well balanced squad, which we have to give him credit for building.

This summer he?s started the season with a weak squad and is having to rely on his tactical and motivational nous. A lot of people here are simply starting to realise what I, and some others, have seen all along. He has none.

In much the same way as Gary Megson, Nigel Worthington is about as inspirational as a tin of grey paint.

With the transfer window about to close Worthington has one final through of the dice to save his job. If he buys no one then we?ll struggle, if he gets the right man in he might turn things around.
