You know Silicon Valley? Nothing on Norfolk's Technology Turnip Patch.
Very few software jobs in Norfolk, i'm afraid, even in the good times. And to my mind, business IT project management will going to require some business IT background. When i'm implementing a customised Oracle ERP, knowing a load about DirectX doesn't cut it, particularly when there are people out there that already have those skills.
Sounds harsh, but I wouldn't rate your chances. Sorry.
