My thoughts...

1. Yeah, it was a penalty - confirmed on SSN. He put his hands up to stop the ball. (I did feel a bit for the Tranmere manager though when he blubbed about the ref giving them nothing. I've never known a match when we've had so few fouls. Doc was practically suffocating the player he was marking at times).

2. Horrid weather and the way they defended made it a really dull first half. (I was cold and wet from the walk there too).

3. Not sure who the official MOTM was but I'd give it to Forster. It was an amazing save! I've sat upstairs in the Riverend long enough to know when someone is going to score. It seems to happen in slow motion and there's nothing I can do about it. That was exactly what I felt today except it wasn't a goal! (Also, very pleased with the way Forster only kicked long when he really had to).

4. Drury had a good game.

5. Super Chrissy M really should have scored at least one goal towards the end. Hope our goal difference isn't going to matter come the end of the season.

6. I didn't feel nervous today, even when they hit the post, or when we went in 0-0 at half time, or we had a penalty. I knew we were going to win. Such a contrast to other seasons!
