And even then, his "tendencies to idleness" weren't a uniform thing. When he first broke through, and had that purple patch, he was dynamite, and it was only when it all slowed down a bit after that that he might occasionally look a bit under motivated.
Love him. Think he's brilliant. Really needs to not become Billy Large Potatoes, though.
