I Think They Genuinely Thought They Were Going To Win...

As the goals went in, the expressions on their fans faces went from disbelief to anger! Not much sign of disappointment and no pictures of scarf clad seven year olds with tears running down their cheeks...I dod wonder if they'd have a banner saying "You Let Us All Down Again" or something, a'la Wolves, but no...

Lets face it, the world and his wife thought there was going to be an upset, not a "chance" of one, no, it was going to happen, it was destiny. ITV and the national media probably didn't help, but I think they all got caught up in it as well and are somewhat taken aback at their fall back into reality.
