My stepson asked me what 'proper' team I supported the other day

I said, Norwich of course! (I've taken him to about 10-15 games home and away over the last couple of years)
"No," he replied. "I mean proper team like, Liverpool or Chelsea"
He then proceeded to tell me how much he loved Liverpool even though he only knew the name of one of their "characters".

I then went into full rant mode and he just made a face.
