It was this really good beeb drama

based around a factory Oop North, but each episode used to follow a different character and their trials and tribulations, but with all the other characters popping in and out, and some narratives running through the whole idea.

I only saw some of them. But I always thought it was a good idea, and also that it was really well acted.
