That's what always happens. However, most people I know blame the union and the management
rather than the manegement.
A strike does seem to be self defeating but when you have such a belligerant, myopic, bullying, intransigent management whose only aim is to protect their massive salaries and bonuses and who refuse to deal with the issues sensibly, there seems to be no alternative. It does seem to have pushed them into talks and a reasonable likelihood of calling in Accas
