I agree doherty is slow and not that good.....

but he is experieced and can head the ball. Unlike semi. Also the doc can see the dabnger coming, even if he struggles to get back and gives away needless free kicks and penalties, at least he's making some sort of challenge on the player, unlike semi who allows his marker free heads and strikes on goal.

give me doherty over semi ANY day of the week!
