That also happens in commentary, if at any point, even if the other team is playing so much better, it will be a misguided commentary by them. Say the oppo has kept the ball for 5 minutes, they'll stop commentating on the game and rise outside points about the club

Then on cc, someone will ring in, say their bit, and he'll go "I take your point, all good points, and I agree with you 100%, but don't you think...." and then he'll go on for about 2 minutes disagreeing with most of what the caller has said, and then the other bloke will go "thanks for your call, now here's jeff on line two"
