we put in a 2m bid for clinton morrison which was accepted but he turned us down for a return to palace. this fueled rumours that leon or deano was off (leon to reading for sidwell+1.5m, deano to man city or w ham for around 7mil). leon scored 120minute winner at mk dons to keep us in the cup. Deano signed a contract extension. And we lost to leeds.
and we're going to win the ashes.
