fao: Malkybarkid, re:swindon away

remember doing swindon away, early 90's - think we drew 3-3, remember rob newman scoring cos I went with a mate from swindon and out on the lash after, and rob had met family in the same bar....

same game we were bombarded with coins and a woman got hid above the eye and needed medical assistance, also before the game we met up with a couple of norwich lads (guardsmen stationed at buck palace) - we did a few beers but got started on outside a boozer ont he way to the game....nasty fisticuffs were had.

bar-stewards at swindon! also on another match away at swindon (pre season friendly, we won 1-0, a VERY young jamie cureton scored!) had paint stripper chucked over my car. c**ts. Later did an HNC at swindon college and the locals reckoned this was normal behaviour at footy and happens every week!
