I stand by all of that and

you must recognise that the family values etc belong to a bygone age and so (presumably) did Gunn's approach to management.

McNally might not have been closely involved with the football at Celtic but he was presumably observing what a top manager does and when he got to Carrow Road he saw that things were amateurish.

And actually he did play a big part in putting together the deals which brought the 'Gunn signings' in.
