The reason that Worthington won't be sacked is that
the board are following the "Charlton" model of building a club, get promoted , give it a good go, get relegated, storm the 2nd tier, go up, build the ground, become established team.
Problem is Wothy isn't Alan Curbishley, and he makes more mistakes in his decision making and then never learns from them.
Loyalty doesn't work if you're backing the wrong horse.
