Home game is a must for first game

Because (a) he will feel that "everyone" supports Norwich instead of feeling like a tiny minority, (b) there are too many NFNs in the away support and (c) (and this is the most important thing) at a home game you can take him to the XXL Emporium and buy him extravagant treats in the form of City shirts, pyjamas, duvet cover etc. This is a crude but utterly effective method of ensuring that they bond with the club.

I know whereof I speak: I ended up with two of my three only having City as a second team.
