I understand exactly what you're saying...

...I was in exactly the same position last year with Watford tickets - didn't have an away season ticket then and only had ten stubs.

I applied, but wasn't convinced I'd get them. Because of that I went straight to Watford and ordered tickets in the Upper Rous Stand (the home end). I eventually got hold of two in the away end, but only in the week before the game and had to collect them on the day from two seperate people.

Got to Watford ticket office and sold on the two I had bought to two Watford fans that were looking to buy on the day at less than face value. Everybody was happy.

I really do agree that the deadline should have been earlier for these tickets - it isn't fair that those that only applied in the last few days have the same priority as those who ordered when we were 'dead and buried'.
