Wherever the Ashes end up

I'll have come out of this series with a very much higher opinion of Brett Lee - not just as a cricketer but also in terms of his character.

And look at this - Eng vs Aus, and (apart from DoY) we actually *don't* want it to rain!! Has this happened since the Brearley years? Normally when we're playing the Aussies we're praying for rain with even more intensity than the characters in a certain Steinbeck novel. Nice to know one thing hasn't changed, mind: I can take the credit for the wicket of Lee...... I deliberately stopped watching. I'm almost certain I could watch five full days of cricket and manage to miss every bleedin' wicket.
