Aug 6th Rupert Murdoch anounces he wants to introduce micro charging for all his companies on-line content

Aug 29th James Murdoch speaks against a dominant bbc and says the free content they offer would make micro charging unlikely for newsgroup.

18th sept Tories anounce radical plans to reduce the size of the bbc including a massive scaling back of its online presence. Also to remove the impartiality restrictions on non license funded broadcasters like Murdochs right wing christian Fox News.

29the Sept. The Sun will be supporting the Tories.
