Really gripping

I think I didn't buy it when I first saw it because I thought that it was going to be faddy but got it for holiday and it was a really good yarn - in both cases it's not too difficult to discern the twist in the plot but it doesn't detract because there's masses going on. Devoured the second one. But America America is my book of this year.
