don't do a hotel. go to the 11th hour cinema hostel. it is a youth hostel but has a 12 bed self contained flat with kitchen etc. costs ?9 pppn and spend the extra money on beer and "other" delights.

best table dancing club = "4play bar"

best night club = the outdoor one on the beach (cant remember its name in hungarian) - it is huge and by far the best night out in budapest.

research which are the dodgy mafia run strip clubs as they will literally hold you to ransom

There is a really good website dedicated to rating Budapest strip clubs ? google it you?ll find it.

Don?t get in a taxi and ask them to take you to a strip club, they are paid commission to take you to a mafia run one so that they can extort you.

Food is good value in Budapest restaurants, and I recommend the ak47 shooting experience run by ?Budapest madness?
