Never really finished what I was saying last night about the remaining midfielders...

...so, Hughes, Tudor-Jones, Gill & Russell out, right (assuming none recover in time for Saturday)?

And am I correct in thinking we have no other recognised left-back, so that takes Lappin out of the equation for the midfield, right?
WRONG! According to that well known footballing mecca, Wikipedia(!), Rhoys Wiggins - Who? Number 22, that's who - is down as a left-back. Can you see him starting? No? Oh.
WRONGERER!! According to the Canary Preview young Sam Habergham is a left-back too.

So that leaves Whaley, Hoolahan, (in my eyes Spillane; he started playing in midfield for us and had plenty of spark about him there - but he'll likely be the cover for Nelson anyway), Adeyemi, McVeigh, (Flown from the Nest has our academy lad-) Dario Dumic (-down as centre-mid/centre-back), Smith and Lathrope.

So, basing my selection on who he likes and who is likely, we'll probably go with:

Whaley on the left
Adeyemi & Smith in the middle
McVeigh on the right
with Hoolahan on the bench

Though he started Monday with three in the middle, so maybe drop Adeyemi to the bench.

Lappin for Drury and Spillane for Nelson and I think he'll leave the rest of the team alone.
