FAO Old Gitus - Some of your like for like comparisons are way off

Marshall v Forster

Scottish number 1 at the moment vs a young kid with not much experience. I was never Marshall's biggest fan but he's a helluva better keeper than Forster is now, in a league above.

Otsemobor v Otsemobor

Agreed

Omozoooooooosi v Nelson

Agreed to an extent but I'm not convinced by Nelson yet especially after Walsall. And there was also Kennedy and Stef in this position too.

Doherty v Askooooo

Too close to call, there was a reason Doc came 3rd last season in pots.

Drury/Bertrand v Drury/Lappin

Agreed, berty is a much better LB then Lappin

Croft v Smith

This should be Croft vs McVeigh

Croft 100 times better

Fotheringham v Hughes

I prefer Hughes but again 2 different leagues both similar players, Fozzy had some good games but it all went wrong.

Clingan v Adeyemi/Martin/Russell/whoever

This should be Clingan vs Smith and yes Clingan wins, but I like Smith and he will be a big player for us.

Bell vs Lappin

I disagree, Bell was our top assist merchant before leaving, one of the mistakes made by Gunn was getting rid of the one player who could cross a ball and could take a set piece. Lappin is good at League 1 level, not sure about above that.

Cort v Holt

Agreed but I would also say that Alan Lee would be equally as effective as Holt in League 1.

Lupoli v Daley

Lupoli is a much better player than Daley, but Lupoli had/has an 'attitude'. Throw Lita into the mix and he makes the pair of them look very s**t.

If we take the best team we had last season, with Lambert as manager, we would not have lost yesterday and would walk this league and I'm mean walk this league.
