Is a long time for a 16/17/18 year old, a lot can change in that time.

How many of the yoof that were 17/18 at start of last season are still about?
Martin and Spillane excepted, i don't think Roeder had a lot there he could give a chance too.

The only 2 he had seemed more concerned about being billy big bollocks and acting like twunts than playing football.

That said, i don't think, effectively. banishing them for a year and forgetting about them was the best way to handle them.
I would have sent them on loan though.
