We'll never get a points deduction
A fine is feasible, I suppose, but as far as I can see there are no concrete allegations against us. All that's coming from Colchester is that it's 'not clear' what happened, and I reckon if something was awry (e.g. tapping up) then Colchester would just go ahead and say so.
I think this is just sabre-rattling to persuade us to come up with a bigger compo package. Also, they know that if we don't agree to compensation and it goes to a tribunal then we will be free to go after their players.
