I've been "coping" ......
by putting football out of my mind altogether. It helps when you're trying to stop yourself telling your gaffer to shove his job up his arse (got a bit of form for that, sadly). And a lot of the media's focus has been on Utd's new womble, so that's been a distraction too.
But I nipped round to my mate's place the other night and he had football on the telly. As soon as I looked at the set my stomach did this loop-the-loop thing.
If I think of tomorrow, I feel sick.
Yeh, it's great innit. Nothing like it.
This Liverpool fan says to me yesterday, "I know how you feel". "No you f**king don't" I replied. I'm really not sure what supporters of Massiff Clubs get out of the game, you know: can't help feeling it's a lot less than you and I get.
