my wife who's a nurse, can regale you with all sorts of stories of people admitted with things inserted in various cavities of their own body.

Like the young professional gentleman who was brought in with a potato stuck up his backside. He claimed he was having some friends round for dinner, but had got in late from work. So to save time he decided to peel the potatoes whilst he was having a bath, and oops, accidently sat on one (as you do) that just happened to lodge itself just far enough out of reach in his rectum.

Yeah, likely story. :-)
