I enjoyed them too.
Went up to North Norfolk to get away from the light pollution. Like you say, didn't see too many due to the cloud coverage, but the ones I did see were lovely, old job.
The moon looked mental as well, we went to Winterton and it looked like it were floating on the sea. It was rather freaky.
