It seems clear to me from McNally's comments

that whereas when we took out the debt it all seemed eminently manageable, our downturn in revenues means that it's a much larger millstone. SO the gate receipts are now 'instantly swallowed'. I think the biggest error from D&M is that they probably thought it would be all okay and didn't budget according to worst case scenario.
Before anyone leaps on this I know it's a naive view but I do think its naivety that's probably caused a lot of the problems. Oh we'll open up a restaurant - it will be okay because we have a lot of people coming through the gates. Oh we've already used that money?
