"It was always going to be important, but because of the defeat on Saturday, it has taken on a massive importance and is a must-win for us now. We can't crumble like we did Saturday, it's something we've got to put right and we've got to show a lot of character and bounce back."

Reflecting on Saturday, Doherty said; "We've got to try and put it to the back of our mind. It was certainly the worst I have felt and speaking to the lads, it's the worst they have felt. With all the optimism surrounding pre-season, everyone was looking forward to the game, it has really put a downer on us.

"We've got to be resilient now, we have three away games to try and turn it round, hopefully next time we come back to Carrow Road we will have a few points behind us."
