The most disturbing aspect of yesterday
was that Gunny didn't appear to arrive until after the fourth goal went in. That's the first time I saw him on the touchline. I just assumed he was late back from a golf match. In his hurry, he obviously picked up Susan's glasses by mistake. Thinking about it, that might be the reason he wasn't more angry after the game - he simply didn't see the goals or the one or two slight deficiencies in our defenc! Perhaps he doesn't realise we lost 7-1. That's the only logical reason I can come up for him describing the performance as 'disappointing.' I'm sure I heard him say after the Charlton game that there would never ever be a performance like that again under his watch.
