Though it was noticeable that Fleck usually was good if we were playing one of the glamour teams (eg ManU/Liverpool) or were on telly but was otherwise a bit sh*t to be honest.

I remember him once having an unusually good game against Derby and finding out the next day that the Scotland manager was at the game.

I'm not suggesting here that he deliberately didn't try in non-glamour games, just that he visibly seemed to be much more motivated and up-for-it for certain games (maybe understandably - they were the 'big' games)
