thoughts on today's game...
thought we were pretty good against a Wigan team who were definately up for the fight - more meaty tackles in this pre-season game than I can remember in any of the previous few years.
Semi and O'Hoolahoolahan were very good.
Stavros in goal looked competent enough.
Martin took his goals well and Wall-e's was an absolute peach - break out of defence, three first time passes and the balls in the back of the net.
Defensively bit of a mixed bag - went to sleep for Wigan's second but generally solid and not too much evidence of hoofball - which was nice.
Overall very pleased not just with the quality but also with the style of play.
