Ie, this girl sniped at me once saying "it's like that time you ignored me for 2 years sam", and I just went "I think you're great mate, I think the world of you for what you are, but if you go with my mate, then another of my mates whilst being with my other mate, then I'll walk away until you get your s**t together. I've got no problem with you looking for love, but I'm standing in a situation where 2 or my mates are stood in a bar, whilst you expect us to play along. So I didn't ignore you for 2 years, I had time out from you whilst you got it together"

She was a bit blanked faced at that, I guess you would if you had that framed mindset (like a noirin). We're still mates though. I apologised the way I put it, but again, she understood and me and her are where we are as mates (as in, she can't snipe at me like that without me putting her straight, and she's happy for me to put her straight, or she'd stop inviting me on nights, weekends etc)

She's not my person in the slightest, but I can't deny how she pulls my distant and out of touch mates together for nights out. She's like my bessie mate PA. I love her for what she is too

It takes a good few years accept that, I've done some years thinking she's ab***h etc
