Indeed... I must admit I didn't really see the incident clearly, but i do recall that as soon as he was down on the floor the ref immediately waved frantically for the stretcher. Gunn also literally sprinted onto the playing area to go over and investigate the situation so i guess it must have looked bad from close up - boot in the face perhaps or a john terryesque face in the floor moment?

Fingers crossed he was just knocked out and has concussion and its not a neck injury or anything more untoward.

Received a good 5 or 6 minutes of treatment, hopefully as a precaution... I guess we'll have to wait and see what the prognosis is tomorrow.

At least if he is out for a while Dejan should be able to step in and do a very decent job. Also would like to see Askou sign on the dotted line. When was the last time we had 4 centre backs you would say could all do a more than decent job in our league? We need that for exactly this kind of situation.
