I watch a lot of F1, have done since I was a kid.

Basically some dramatic changes came into place this season on the cars (lots of talk about the diffuser early on) the objective was to make it more of an open playing field so that the so called lesser cars would have a chance.

As I read, the big boys (Ferrari etc) figured that they would be fine with all their money and their super cars. MEanwhile, knowing in advance that the changes were coming, the "smaller" teams made the changes.

Turns out the changes were huge and for the first 6 or so races Brawn, RedBull etc were walking it. Ferrari etc have now had since March to develop the car and 2 races ago Mclaren showed what they had done by qualifying on pole, underlined by the win yesterday.

I dont expect Mclaren et al to now walk it as they still have a way to go. Equally Brawn have rest on their laurels a little and will now be praying Mclaren do win more races if they can do so, to stop Redbull getting the points.

Next season they scrap KERS and introduce no refuelling.
