you do need two eyes to judge depth though, surely?
the brain can't really compensate for that, 'cos that's basic maths - ie if you observe something from two separae points, you have more information than if you just observe it from one.
Dunno how useful that is for when you're driving a car at 250mph, but I would have thought fairly.
