I'm struggling to think of anywhere with "great" food

I've heard good things about The Plough in Fen Ditton, but I've not been there myself.

I've had some good nosh at the Castle next to the County Hall. It's just over the road from the Maharajah, too.

Probably the best "proper" pub is The Red Lion in Histon. No question. They don't do food, though.
