OK say Nige goes in Sept...how long do you give the new man to turn it around?

6 weeks til Jan? til the end of the season, what if we don't make the play-offs with the new man will it be time for a change again. I can see it becoming a bit of a roundabout in the managerial position and we all know where that got us with Rioch, Hamilton etc.
