Techy advice needed
Our brand new database server is performing about 2000 times worse than the previous one. I'm of the opinion that there is something wrong with the "temp" tables (selecting from an empty table took over 4 minutes when it should be milliseconds); but our DBA seems not to think so...
Do I simply shoot him or use a baseball bat to cause maximum pain and suffering?
