I called you a vile person

because you said "anyone sitting in the wrong end of derby games needs injecting with aids". Whether that was actually directed at me or someone else I have no idea, but that's what I'm basing my assessment on. The fact that you clearly disagree is a good reason in my book for us to ignore each other, so I'd be grateful if we would carrying on doing that.

As to negativity, unlike you I have sat through years of dreadful football, played in large part by players whose performances are so poor that it's impossible to tell whether they don't care at all, are totally s**t, or both. All this accompanied by endless statements in the media and on message boards about how good things are going to be, what a well-run and well-respected club it is. To best of my recollection what I've got wrong about Norwich City are the positive things - I thought Grant and Roeder were good appointments - how f**king stupid was that? I still think Selwyn and Smudger are nasty idiots, but it's pretty hard to justify that when everything they say turns out to be correct. Anyone who has said anything bad about Norwich City since mid-2004 has been right. My stock of goodwill towards the people running Norwich City completely ran out at the Valley so I'm not going to be impressed by any new appointments until we see some proof on the pitch. So am I ashamed to be negative when the pre-season appears to be following a grimly familiar pattern? No.

As to people who disagree with me being stupid - no not really. APB and I seem to disagree on Gow, doesn't make either of us stupid. What I do value at nought are opinions based on ignorance, so whilst I don't know whether usacanary is stupid or not, it is transparently clear that his strongly held opinions on Spillane are not based on ever having seen the player play. There are loads of examples of that on this board.

As to accepting the replies I get, some I do and some I don't. The above post is a light-hearted dig back at what is an entirely fair point about me being miserable. I've loved this football club for 40 years, looking at what's been done to it - out of indolence and/or incompetence - it seems to me that misery is a rational response. So is rage and that's where I am.
