Bowkett is the sort of person that CB would really, really loathe. Working class boy made good through grammar school, self-made millionaire, left the pits behind him and never looked back at them, Thatcher fan, ruthless sacker and squeezer of workforces.

I tell you what though, this could be interesting. My impression of him is that he is NO-ONE'S yes-man. No way is he going to be star-struck with Delia or impressed by her wealth. He is (or was, anyway) a top drawer industrialist with the hardest edge out there.
