You are quite clever you old bugger - the type of work you do reinforces it. Anyone who CHOOSES to do office work, like me, are the thickies.
I'd much rather be doing something I don't take home with me - something I pick up at the start of the day, put down at the end and then just live my life rather than having to PLAN things, THINK about things and stuff.
Life is for living, not working.
