Aberdeen is a very 'happening' city.......

I live about 50 miles away, but have worked here for 4 years and have a flat here too.

Its about the same size as Norwich with similar rural surroundings. It has the same problems with drugs etc as any other UK city, and some esteate that are as bad as anywhere.

But the place is still rolling in money from the oil industry and this year is mental with the oil price so high. there are houses in the city for up to ?1.8M and more big Mercs, Porsche, etc than you can shake a big stick at. the range of bars, clubs and restaurants is superb.

In short, I like the place, but it'll never be as good as Norwich for me.
