I wouldn't be unhappy if he signed.

If the fee is a straight ?2m as is being bandied about the press, I think that'd be a mistake, but if we could get him for circa ?1.25m with extra upon promotion etc etc that ought to be OK.

Leave a bit then to get in another midfielder (asuming NW has a clue what he's doing).
