Indeed, and typically that was a point in which it was fairly sustainable.

Again, we came down at the wrong point. Survive then and we could now have the sort of investment and ownership other clubs have.
Oh what a joy that would be.

Our mistake was a common one, expenses increased massively, as they always do on promotion, when we came down we failed to reduce expenses inline with income quickly enough.
You can gamble for maybe the first year, but you HAVE to be ruthless after that.
We didn't, saints didn't Charlton didn't.

Its also why i fear for Newcastle more than the other three relegated prem clubs.
They could very very easily follow us (or more accuratly probably saints) into league 1 and admin.
