back to basics?

2 seasons ago, we won the league not, as the popular myth goes, soley because of huckerby and his goals, but primarily because we had a solid defence.
already, this season has ceased to be about us going straight back up, and has become a season of transition for the squad. we have yet to keep a clean sheet this season, and look more vulnerable at the back than i can remember (christ, we made fuller and jones look dangerous on saturday, and in the grand scheme of things they aint no good). nw needs to go back to basics and sort the defence- whether thats by getting quality players or simply by altering the way we play, i dont care, but this is the priority as i see it.
