yep, that's why despite Armstrong having won the Tour 7 times
some traditionalists like to suggest that the 5 wins of Anquetil, Indurain, Hinault and the great Eddy Mercks were far more impressive as they managed Giro wins and Vuelta wins at the same time
i think Pantani was the last rider to win both the Giro and the Tour in the same season
i know only Mercks and Roache have managed Giro, Tour and World Championship in the same season
