that I definitely don't want to encourage a load of whinging, but unfortunately that's what happens when you get into a bad run. We've got to hold fast, but Worthy really does have to see that Fleming is past it and the midfield simply isn't up to the job. Hughes is just a journeyman, the sort of player you might want as a squad player especially given his versatility. Jarrett hasn't produced yet, but maybe he's just settling in, but on the evidence so far we need a good creative midfielder to go alongside Safri and if Sidwell was available he'd be the ticket. A swap for McKenzie plus cash could be on. I'm not at all sure that Morrison is worth the money, and I'd think we could maybe get someone like Riordan (saving him from Hibby Scum into the bargain) plus a decent Centre half for the ?2 mill.

Let's hope we see some progress this week. Apparently we can still bring in loan players after the window closes, so hope still springs.
